  2. Submission to, or rejection of, such conduct by the individual is used as the basis for an academic or employment decision affecting that person;
  3. The conduct is severe, persistent, pervasive, or objectively offensive; The conduct has the purpose or effect of having a negative impact on the student’s academic performance, or the employee’s work performance, and/or has the effect of creating an intimidating, hostile, or offensive working or learning environment;
  4. Submission to or rejection of the conduct by the individual is used as the basis for any decision affecting the student or employee regarding benefits and services, honors, programs, or activities available at or through any District program or activity.

Any person who feels that he/she is being or has been sexually harassed on school grounds or at a school sponsored or school-related activity is encouraged to immediately contact his/her teacher, their site principal, a supervisor, or any other available school employee.

All allegations of sexual harassment will be investigated in accordance with the law and District procedures outlined in AR 4119.11, 4219.11, and 4319.11 (personnel) and AR  5145.7 (students).  Prohibited sexual harassment also includes any act of retaliation against an individual who reports a violation of the District’s sexual harassment policy and/or who participates in the investigation of a sexual harassment complaint.
